One command, no API key. Frosone CLI talks to your local llama.cpp server or to the ad-funded cloud. Same tools as the desktop app.

Install

npm install -g frosone
frosone

Or run a one-shot task:

frosone "fix the failing auth test"

If a local server is running, the CLI uses it. No network.

--cloud uses the fair-use quota. --key uses your own provider.

One-shot mode for CI and shell pipelines. Exit code reflects the task.

Do I need Node?

Node 20 or newer. The CLI has no native dependencies.

Does it work without a GPU?

Yes, but slowly. Point it at any OpenAI-compatible local or cloud endpoint.

Is the CLI free?

Yes. Local is unlimited, cloud is fair-use and ad-funded.
