Privacy is an architecture, not a policy.
What leaves your machine, and when.
Local mode
Frosone talks only to 127.0.0.1. No telemetry, no analytics, no remote pixel. Threads and settings stay in your app data folder.
Cloud mode
When you choose cloud, the current turn goes to the selected provider (DeepSeek, Google or Groq). That provider's policy applies. Frosone stores usage counts and, for paid plans, billing identifiers.
Ads
Impressions and clicks are counted locally in ads-stats.json. There is no remote pixel. We use the country code from the CDN, not your precise location, to size the cloud quota.
Payments
Stripe processes payments. Frosone never sees your card number.
